I have seen so many churches that have a weakness in communication. This problem is not limited to the size of the church or the number of people who serve as pastors or ministry leaders. Rather than being part of the problem, let me help you be part of the solution with the following ideas or suggestions.
When it comes to social media, pastors need to be not just good but excellent stewards of the use of their time and use of social media. This is true both of personal social media accounts and also your church or ministry accounts. In this blog, I will attempt to suggest some guidelines for pastors.
During 2020, the use of social media has been the source of way too much division and negativity.  Virtually everyone using Facebook or Twitter has lost friends over differing opinions and viewpoints, especially political ones, or they have chosen to "defriend" people who were on their friends or peeps list. How sad all this is. For my last ministry blog of 2020, let me share with you how we can get back to using social media to build up rather than tear down relationships.
