Some people ask, "Why plant churches?" They might continue, "Don't we have enough churches already in America/our city/our neighborhood?" There are a number of reasons, and here are some of them.

     Some people ask, "Why plant churches?" They might continue, "Don't we have enough churches already in America/our city/our neighborhood?" There are a number of reasons, and here are some of them.

     Almost all cities, towns, or communities are losing more churches than adding new ones.

     The number of churches/population is not keeping up with population growth.

     Planting new churches is the most effective means of evangelism known today.

     Being part of a new church encourages you to live and serve by faith much more than being a member of an existing church that has lots of resources and ministries.

     Helping a new church launch and grow is a great way to encourage, strengthen, and even grow your church.

     Being an active participant in a church plant or a church planting movement is one of the best crucibles for developing new and younger church and ministry leaders.

     Planting a new church is one of the main ways to knock down the gates of hell in your community.

     Sending and giving reflect the heart of God.

     Praying for new churches to be formed and launched is an act of obedience to the "Great Prayer Request" given by our Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 10:2.

     It takes new churches to reach new generations in new ways with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
